品川蒸留所 / 蒸留水ワークショップ「The Distillation Day」2025 / イベント映像制作

品川運河沿いに佇む“世界一小さな蒸留所”〈品川蒸留所〉様よりご依頼いただき、巴波重工様・リカシツ様との共同開催による蒸留水ワークショップ「The Distillation Day」の撮影・編集を担当いたしました。

蒸留は私にとっても未知の世界。多くの方にとってもまだ踏み入れたことのない領域だと感じ、映像にはほんの少しミステリアスな空気をまとった楽曲を選びました。効果音はすべて編集段階で追加しています。「参加者の楽しむ様子や、蒸留の工程を美しく切り取ってほしい」とのご要望に沿い、マクロレンズも活用しながら細部まで丁寧に撮影しました。

蒸留には、私が慣れ親しんでいるコーヒーの世界と通じる奥深さがあり、カメラ越しではありながらも、とても楽しい時間でした。

I was commissioned by Shinagawa Distillery, known as “the world’s smallest distillery” located along the Shinagawa Canal, to handle the filming and editing of “The Distillation Day,” a distilled water workshop co-hosted with Tomoha Heavy Industries and Rikashitsu.

Distillation was an unfamiliar world for me as well, and I felt it was a field many people have yet to explore. With that in mind, I chose music with a slightly mysterious atmosphere for the video. All sound effects were added during the editing process.

In response to the request to beautifully capture both the participants enjoying the experience and the distillation process itself, I carefully filmed even the smallest details, making use of a macro lens where appropriate.
